Hamish and his wife Sally purchased the company in 2003. Since then he has developed a vast knowledge and understanding of all aspects of the construction, roading, contracting, and mining industries of New Zealand.

Hamish has played a major influence in the development and expansion of the company to date and now with the strong management team is keen to keep this progress going. Making sure Evergreen Landcare’s service and delivery is true to our core values.

Calum joins us from an agricultural and logistical background.  His vast experience in managing large teams across a range of industries has given him the logistical skills to ensure you get the right staff on your jobs at the right time. His personal skills gained both in past positions and in his involvement in emergency services have given him a real passion for mentoring and training people to be the best they can be.

Calum works closely with all Auckland staff to ensure their work is completed on time, and to a high standard. We had a large area of “paddock” which had never been sown properly when the house was built.  Amongst the ten quotes we’d received Pete Low and Evergreen Landcare one stood out for being timely, efficient, highly personable and very reasonable price wise.

They were small enough to give the personal touch, while big enough to have all the necessary gear and give a confidence they could handle a job one or two others in game saw as too challenging.

The proliferation of stones were dealt with expertly with the “stone burrier”, they worked with a “whatever it takes” approach and then sowed/sprayed on the hydroseed.

To say we were stunned by the result is an understatement – no one who’d seen what was there could quite believe it, within two weeks there was a great “show” and within 5-6 weeks our kids were enjoying playing on “real grass.” It looks great and for the very modest investment has greatly improved our home.

We’d thoroughly recommend Pete and his team, nothing was too much trouble and the follow up service superb – so much so that we’ve had them back to sow another large area on the other side of the home.

Evergreen Landcare were sub-contracted to carry out hydroseeding, tractor grassing to final finish on the Peninsula Bay subdivision, Wanaka for our company BG Contracting.

Evergreen Landcare carried out the work efficiently and professionally maintaining good communication with BG Contracting project managers.

They were cooperative and scheduled grassing according to our operational requirements.  The result left a well presented quality subdivision.

Evergreen Landcare has been sub-contracted by Fulton Hogan on the East Taupo Arterial Project since the initial stages of earthworks.  During this time they have provided straw mulching, hydroseeding and grassing services as well as final formation, grooming, turf establishment and mowing on roadside swale drains.

The company’s range of specialist hydroseeding products such as Hydrosoil®, Siltstop® and Bioblanket® were used successfully at various sites on the East Taupo Arterial Project.

We sought the services of a personable, reliable and professional hydroseeding company to assist with the grassing of the Jack Nicklaus golf course at Kinloch. Evergreen Landcare provided these qualities, achieving a great result on the golf course.
